Can't Install Mint KDE (community project)

Postby Doc on Sat Apr 18, 2009 5:44 pm

Hey. I've successfully installed Linux Mint. However, I'd like to try the community supported KDE release. I burn it onto a cd and load into it. I click install. I pick Keyboard, timezone, etc, and then hit next. It says it's scanning my disks and it gets to 50 percent. It then stops and gives an error message about how something is unstable. Bunch of slashes and some directory. Sorry if this is vague. I don't have an exact quote.

So then it sticks at 50 percent and won't move farther. I can exit out and it just does it again.

Anyone know what's going on?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
