Installation Behind a Proxy Server

Postby DataMan on Thu May 07, 2009 4:00 pm

I'm going to be installing MInt V KDE on a corporate pc tomorrow. We are behind a proxy server. I have the url for the proxy server. Is there anything else I need to be concerned with to establish connectivity post-installation?

Thanks,

IP/URL and port number is all that's needed I think
Would be fine to have a direct connection to test with though :)

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
