GFX Grub

Postby manishk on Wed May 23, 2007 3:06 pm

Has anyone tried to install gfx-grub (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=208855)??

I just wanted to know if it'll work with Mint.

The grub splashes for this one are just awesome!!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I can't guarantee 100% - no one can :) but grub is the same.....
There is a nice splash here:

I'm still amazed that an archive can be unpacked in grub :)

Thats strange...when I tried the same steps (with an other splash) GRUB gave me an error. I had to extract the xpm from the archive to make it work!!

But the actual question was about GFX Grub that will look something like this http://www.gnome-look.org/content/previ ... Grub+theme

I wanted to know if that is compatible with Mint.
