I`ve HP 2133 netbook like Wind.

I`ve downloaded mint 7 iso
checked md5sum
wrote iso on my usb in unetbootin
and just plug usb stick in pc
works great

Me too! I have just finish installing Gloria in my MSI Wind. No problems. Just downloaded the ISO and used the USBMint application http://www.pendrivelinux.com/usb-linux- ... n-windows/ to make my USB bootable. I now have xp, jolicloud and my Gloria! (Compiz works great)

I dual boot Mint 7 Main Edition and Mint 7 XFCE on an Acer Aspire One D250 with similar specs to your MSI Wind. Everything works. The only difference is instead of booting from a USB stick, I used an external DVD drive plugged into a USB port.
