LM 7 on ASUS K50IJ

Postby gjleonardo on Mon Aug 03, 2009 5:45 am

The live cd boots perfectly, however when I go on installing I encounter an error. It will work but after the hard disk partitioner it will prompt for cd installer corruption or hard drive unsupported? I have a xp on the first partition. My SATA setup on BIOS is on "enhanced" mode ( there are two options, the other one is compatible, I choose enhance so it wont limit the hdd capabilities of my machine)

Is there any asus k50 users there? :-P please help.
TIA.

Boot the Live CD, open a terminal and type "sudo fdisk -l" so we can see how you have set up the partitions.

Resolve!

Had a faulty cdrom. Download a new one and check it by using md5sum.

Thanks guys!
