My laptop I got for free and the cd-rom does not work. It did work when it wants too and I installed Ubuntu 9.04 with full disk encryption (what a mistake) Now it is super slow and the cd-rom does not work at all. My main PC is running Linux Mint KDE. The laptop is to old to support USB booting or I would do that. Is there an easy way to use the PXE network boot to install Linux Mint main on this laptop?
This system is HP dv1150 with 512mb ram, 80 gb HD.
