Grub splash

Hello all, I just installed mint (upgrade from bianca kde to cassandra kde)and really like it. a lot
I just followed the instructions here:

Nice and easy everything went fine.

Now all I would like to do is get rid of the white lines (boarders) in the boot list.

any Ideas?

You probably have more important issues than a grub splash
Again - you can't update Bianca KDE to Cassandra which is gnome
I have tried one of these and don't remember any white lines....

Not really everything else is working just fine except for the mintinstall part.(which is another post right?) So if this is me:

How do I delete the newer (double) post?

Okay, I did this:

and it worked.

I don't know if what I upgraded to is cassandra. It is running kde 3.5.6, which is all I wanted, and mintinstall was there by default. which I gather is a cassandra feature.
