I have in the past successfully created a MINT 6 bootable SDCARD which ran perfectly on my daughter's ASUS 701. Now the time has come for me to create a Mint 7 Bootable SD, and I am faced with the dreaded "boot to flashing cursor" problem I had previously overcome when booting on the 701. The ISO was by Mint's 'APTonCD' and written to the SDCARD without incident.
Can anyone remind me how to get rid of the flashing cursor? It involved a simple file edit - that much I remember!!
