How would one edit the Grub boot menu so the default menu would boot up to xp? the reason I need to change it because my wife is not comfortable with linux and just incase I'm at work and she needs to reboot the pc it will boot up to xp. Thanks for the info......

/boot/grub/menu.lst

Have a look at "default" and "savedefault".
