(Solved) Linux Mint 8 will not boot
After install Linux Mint 8 will not boot. I looked for grub and could not find it. If I install Linux Mint 7 every thing works fine. Is there a problem with 8.

if you mean you found nothing at all after installing,this happened to me with Karmic.try reinstalling GRUB.

(Solved) Linux Mint 8 will not boot
It seems that any distro that's using Ubuntu 9.10 has to be on a primary partition. It can not be on an extended partition.
