I've been trying to install Linux Mint. When I boot up the LiveCD I get through the loading screen fine but after that all I see is gibberish. I tried the safe graphics mode and I still get the same problem. I tried changing the resolution upon booting up and I still can't get to the desktop. When I do, I can get to the console meaning that there isn't anything wrong with my computer. Is there a command to install LiveCD from the console?
I use a Nvidia Geforce 6800. How can I solve this problem? And/Or How can I install Linux Mint without getting to the desktop, such as text install?
