Multiple Desk Tops

Postby simon lovell on Mon Jan 04, 2010 1:48 pm

I have just installed Mint 8 onto a 2 gb data thingy usb key, so that I can boot through the USB and then I was going to install it onto a 8 gb flash card on my eeeepc.
When I did this with Mint 7 i was able to set multiple desktops through the compiz settings. However this option is greyed out and unavailable to me on Mint 8. Why? and what do I do about it?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

goto: Preferences > Simple CompizConfig Settings Manager

Is the Profile selection set to medium or higher...? This may be your problem.
