Ok. I am trying to install Linux Mint 8 & Windows 7 on a different PC. I have a 250 GB SATA HDD that I am partitioning it so that the 2 OSs are each on a 40 GB partition & have a 150 GB for the data. I installed Windows 7 first. I setup the 40 GB for the OS & the 150 GB for the data, leaving the 40 GB for Linux Mint 8. I then started up the LiveCD & installed Linux Mint 8. After the iinstall finishes, I reboot the PC, but the computer boots into Windows 7 without starting up GRUB. I open windows disk manager & it shows 2 partions that I am assuming are the Linux Mint 8 install (/ & swap). So, any ideas on how to get grub installed so that I can run both OSs?
