Re: Install Helena to USB ~ incredible
WOW! This is incredible. Now I am writing from my new MINT-on-a-stick if you'll pardon the color. I was finally able to get MINT 8 on the USB Flash-drive and I've booted from it and even Activated the Video/graphics drivers so the color is normal. When I had used the CD boot /run-from method the color was garish. Also I have changed the mouse to left-hand. This is great!
I spent several days trying several different methods to get this USB loaded with MINT. Finally! Using the link to USB-Installer from PenDriveLinux.com I was able to do it in no time with 4GB of persistence.
MINT 8 "Helena" is now on all three of my computers.
