Not the same old multi boot problem

Post by vietveteran »

I hope this does not wear out the helpers on here with another triple boot problem.
The thing is my system boots fine, I have Windows XP on one hard drive and Mandriva Free and Mint on the second drive, These are IDE drives if that makes a difference. I put the MBR in Mandriva when I installed then I added Mint and put the bootloader in / of that distro.
Now the thing is Mandriva is the Default system with options to boot either Windows or Mint and it works fine BUT I would like to have Mint as the Default since I have gotten to really like it the more I use the different systems. When I installed I did the "chainloader +1" for Mint.
Do you know of a simple way to change so Mint is default Or can I even do it?
Please keep is as simple as possible since my knowledge of Linux is very limited an I am terrified of the Terminal thing and Grub.
Thanks

Since Mandriva is controlling Grub this question is best asked in their forum.
