Hi,
I am installing Mint 8 on a Fujitsu Siemans Esprion V5535 laptop for a friend.
The installation went fine. I also got the SiS video drivers for the machine and installed them (deb package). I have rebooted the machine and now i cannot login it at all.
Mint begins loading as normal then dumps me to a terminal, which i can deal with. But the screen is constantly flashing and keys are unresponsive meaning i cannot type the username or password in.
When booting there is no press esc for the the grub menu so i can try a safe mode or anything.
