Hi friends.
This forum has always been of great help to me. Either i find my own solutions or members guide me...
NOw again got a doubt.
I am dual booting between win7 and LM8. My prob is, i have made a fresh install of windows. Now is it compulsory for me to install mint over windows again, or is it there a way to install grub alone. I haven't formatted my LM partition. I have all the files there????
Is there a solution????
Please help...

Assuming it was an install of Mint 8 and, not an upgrade from Mint 7, you would have Grub 2. In that case, follow this tutorial: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Grub2#Recover%2 ... a%20LiveCD
