If I try to start in "normal" boot mode, my PC always crashes when X just starts. However if I start in Recovery mode, then when then prompt appears I type "telinit 3", X will start as normal with the GDM login screen.
I am confused for 2 reasons:
1. Why will it only boot in Recovery mode
2. I thought "telinit 3" would start runlevel 3 (no GUI).
