I have a question about the boot order - it doesn't seem to be following the classic init script process where at runlevel 2 it will start everything in /etc/rc2.d.
I am a long time Unix/Linux user, so I may have missed some changes to the way initscripts works. Could someone give me a quick pointer to the documentation that I need to read?
The two symptoms I'm seeing with my Celena boxes are:
1) it starts things in /etc/rcS.d and then moves to rc2.d. Besides being confusing, this causes my NFS mounts to come up incorrectly, and it also runs waitnfs.sh which takes a few minutes to time out - because the nfs-common startup script doesn't run.
2) I disabled a few programs by switching the S to K, e.g. K12915resolution, but they switched back to an S.
Is there a new installation process that I need to figure out?
