I have installed LXDE 9 on an old machine. I want to start without me having to enter username and password. Perhaps I missed something in the installation process. Ubuntu has a box to check for this purpose. Can somebody help, please!

Re: start without username & password
I have the same question and am running 9-LDXE on a compaq nx9010. I see the response but do not have those options. I do have:
Preferences> Users and Groups> There is an option to not ask for password but it is hot highlighted and will not allow selsection. There seems to be nothing to avoid the login screen all together. Am I missing something?
