I have a feeling that there must be a very detailed topic on this somewhere here, but I did not see it, so please forgive the possible repeat.
I am, actually entirely happy with Cassandra, but in linux, the longer you wait before you update, the more destructive it becomes, and since people are now speaking of Daryna (the previous edition names were wonderful, why now "Daryna"?), I decided I had better get to it.
So, can I "apt-get dist-upgrade"? I have a feeling this will just get me Ubuntu 7.10.
What is the prescribed method? What happens if I burn a celena copy and just pop it in my computer? Will it safely overwrite my Cassandra?
P.S. Mint is the best distro out there. That is all.
