Hey, I'm pretty much a beginner, but needed some help
Im trying to do a dual boot of Windows 7 and Mint 10 Julia
the installer gets stuck at the part where it says "Ready When you are", as you can see in the screenshot attached, the forward button is not highlighted.
I've tried burning multiple disks, even usb install using unetbootin, can't figure it out.

edit - When I xkill and restart my computer, the boot into linux mint option does not show up. Strangely enough a wubi install works just fine.

Type your computer's name in all lower case and see if that allows you to proceed.

Somewhere I read that with Julia, you need to use the Windows MBR to let it run side by side.
I never could get Julia to install next to Windows 7, but Isadora worked just find. This would also explain how a Wubi Install doesn't have an issue. Wubi would edit the Windows MBR, and not use Grub, per se.
Just a Thought,
Dave
