I have looked around and have been unable to find out how to change the boot screen font resolution.
I can change the resolution of the GRUB screen, but the boot message text stays at what looks like 800x600, ie big, fuzzy, and hard to read.
I would like to increase it to around 1280x800 and add a back ground image if possible.
Right now mine is similar to this:
And I would like something similar to this:
Background is not too important, I would just like the text to be more legible.
I am running LMDE X64, Nvidia Go6150 GPU
(I am one of those weird ones that likes to read it as it boots)
Thank you in advance,
Mike

Re: boot message font size
Well mostly solved my own problem.
I installed Startup Manager via Synaptic and fixed the resolution,
but would still like to keep the Linux Mint background through the boot process though.
I have been using OpenSuse for about 6 years and I am still learning some of the differences between the two distros,
and I must say I am really liking the Debian way over RPM based distros.
Thanks again for any help
