I am new new to linux and have both windows xp and mint (julia) intalled on my computer
Keep getting this message when I try to boot up linux mint --Mobprobe Fatal could not load lib/modules/2.63 35-22 genlric modules dep No such file or directory
my system-- Amd sempron 145 processer 2.81 ghz 3.25 ram
M4A88T-V EVO/USB3 asus motherbord with Integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 4250 GPU 500gb hard drive

It may be a typo, but:
Do you still have the LiveCD, DVD or USB?
Is this your first time trying to get into Mint?
Did you verify the MD5Checksums?
Did you burn the CD at a slow speed (12 or less)?

this is a dvd burned my self
after i downloaded linux mint off the Internet
how do i verify the md5 checksums
i dont know what speed i burned the dvd
i will try a usb install
