I cannot install linux mint in pentium dual core

Hello
I download linux mint 10 and i try to install it in my PC dual core cpu MB intel 2 Gb RAM and i try to make clean install with windows XP SP3 but the the DVD start and I got black screen and the pc crash I try the same DVD in another PC with win XP installed an it run good but in this one i have always the same result can anybody help?

Hi!
Maybe you have hardware issues (drive, hard disk). You could try to create a live USB.

Try the nomodeset, nolapic, or noacpi options when booting . . post # 2, examples of what it should look like in post # 4.

but it doesn't work for me cus I don't have access to edit nothing I have black screen at the start screen F6 doesn't work
