Daryana Problem

Hi there,
I've just installed Daryana in my home pc. The install went like a breeze, but i'm having a problem now, it freezes few seconds after i start.
I suspect it is the HDD. I have 2 HDD, the first one as WinXP, and this i've used all for Mint. The thing is that i've been trying to install osx86 using that hdd, and i can't have a clean install, always errors, and now that gave Mint a chance this happens!!??!! So i suspect HDD is not good. Also used Hiren boot cd, and partition magic gave me an error, extended partition(?), i used mint's guided partition.
Could it be the hdd?

Seems like it to me, especially if another (osx86) OS had problems not to mention Partition Magic.
