Use GRUB to boot CD

Post by cjsnow1 »

Is there an easy way to add a listing for both my CD Drives into GRUB? I tried searching the forums but every time I did it didn't include boot and CD? (Weird.)

I'm running Mint 9 with KDE and GNOME.

Thanks in advance.

You can't do that.
Booting from either HDD, CD-drive, DVD-drive or USB is arranged by your choice in BIOS-options.
If you choose for the HDD to boot from, then GRUB comes in to let you choose from the OSses present on the HDD.
