Errors upgrade to lm11 katya

hi guys,

i tried to upgrade to katya but now im stuck at

dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von initramfs-tools (--configure):
 Unterprozess installiertes post-installation-Skript gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 initramfs-tools

maybe someone got an idea on how to fix that?

Upgrade how, there is no upgrade for mint, especially as katya is not yet released? You are meant to do a clean install.

there a few people posting comments on the rc release post blog page, saying it works with apt-get dist-upgrade.
But i think i will do a clean install as your recommended. Thank god i have my backup!

Hi,
Hmm, don't know if you're still interested by a solution.
Make a link with the library directory, under root (after su or sudo).

# cd /usr/lib ; ln -s x86_64-linux-gnu/pango

This command fix your trouble.
You probably can integrate it in libpango-1.0 postinst shell script.

sriliam, posting workarounds is all well and good, but as this is unreleased software, updates could render it useless or lead to other problems as a result of the changes you have made.
