the command line to my desktop? I ran nvidia-xconfig as root and then hit control alt backspace but it just takes me back to my terminal login. Thanks

Ctrl-Alt-Backspace logs you out. You need to log in again at the login screen.

I believe the command is just startx, not restartx.z06gal wrote:I just typed in restartx and it says "no screens found"
