ya, i have a dell with the partitions for drivers and backup. is there any way to install mint 4.0 on the drive without wiping all the partitions? cause every time i try to partition it, it says that it will have to redo all of the partitions that previously exist. if you could reply back with a list of what im supposed to do to partition the drive correctly, i would really appreciate it. i just dont wanna take the chance of partitioning my drive and wiping windows and my dell reset drivers. =/ im new to linux too, so if u would be fairly specific on your instructions it would help. ive already tried "apt purge ubiguity; apt clean; apt install ubiquity;"
and it doesnt do anything to the installation.
