Greetings all! I've had a dual-boot XP/ SuSE 10.0 machine using grub for about a year now, and have tinkered around with the SuSE side, but things don't seem...right. It's definitely not intuitive, and so the shininess wore off quickly. I just found Mint and would like to get back into Linux again, especially given the craptacular nature of Vista. Also, I applaud ya'lls 'it works out of the box' approach. SuSE 10.0 was certainly not that.
Will installing Mint be as simple as formatting the Linux partitions and doing a fresh install? Are there any gotchas I should know before downloading? Thanks!

Matt_Minton, I know of NO "gotchas" with Mint. I actually migrated from another linux distro (kde based) to Mint 4.0 and I assure you that you WILL NOT be disappointed with this distro! Welcome aboard!

Yes. During the install you will be asked if you want to format your partitions or not
