Daryna instead of Bea ?

Postby Jens-Florian on Wed Jan 02, 2008 9:04 am

If I install Daryna instead of Bea (which runs pretty well), will it use or need more ressources?
I ‘m thinking of a system update, but I won’t if it slows down my computer.
Thanks!

Daryna will be slower than bea, especially with shared video memory. there is a new FluxBox CE edition that wight be a bit snappier than the gnome version on daryna, you may want to try it out, but expect a speed hit, though it may be small.
