Dear All
I have been a Windows user for 20+years but I'm completely new to Linux. I have been introduced to Mint by a colleague. I was so impressed I downloaded the Main version. However, when I try to run the liveCD it gets stuck in a loop with the message:-
"[ueagle-atm] requesting firmware ueagle-atm/DSPep.bin failed with error - 2".
With the little research I suspect this is because I'm using a USB ASDL modem (SAGEM 800 series, Tiscali standard issue). How can I get beyond this point and test Daryna 4.0 on my Dell Dimension E520 pc? Should I just take the plunge and install Mint and sort out the modem problem after installing, or does Daryna require an internet connection to install correctly?
Best Regards
Doryen.
