Error "sparse file not allowed" on boot

Post by andzaytsev »

Hello, I have installed Linux Mint 12 and each time after I select "Linux Mint 12" in Grub I get an error message "sparse file not allowed. press any key...". After I press any key, Mint boots normally. How can I get rid of this annoying error message?
P. S. Mint is installed on btrfs partition

It's reported in launchpad:

post #10 in the bugreport above suggest a temporary fix. This bug has been rated a minor bug and you wont see a fix soon I think.
