GRUB error

Hi, I'm pretty much a linux newbie and now I got a somewhat big problem.

So I have Mint 4.0 & Vista X64 as dual boot, using the GRUB loader. Now I just shrank the vista partition under Vista and created a new^NTFS partition with it. When I restarted, I got a GRUB Error 17. No description, nothing. I booted from the LiveCD and looked at fdisk -l and it wrote that sda1 was the boot partition. However, sda1 is a 45mb unalocable partion.... Is there a way to switch it to sda3 (mint partition) without re-installing it?

EDIT: I was able to re-installer the loader but it tries to boot mint from sda1 while it's sda3. I think it's because I typed setup (hd0) and I shouldh have typed setup (hd0,2)

Yes, you
shouldh have typed setup (hd0,2)
