Hi,
For doing pxe network install I am looking for a kernel and initrd.
Like the files found in:
http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/dists/s ... ler/amd64/
Anybody knows where to get these files for Linux Mint ?
Cheers!

Mint does not have a netboot version, you will need to build it yourself, though if you search the tutorials I seem to recall seeing something in there about this.
[Edit] your original post and add [SOLVED] once your question is resolved.

I would love for a network installer to be provided, I feel it's needed as mint gets on par with debian and ubuntu.
I do use PXE to spread those to old computers that don't boot from USB, and I would very love to do the same with mint. no need to deal with CD-Rs (that I have to buy in a fiscal paradise in the nearby mountains), data corruption and the occasional faulty drive.
