Hey,
This is my first shot at Mint but I got stuck from the beginning. When I try to install from the live CD I get this error:
- Code: Select all
Loading isolinux: Disk error 32, AX 4200, drive 9F
I've written several CD's with different downloads of Mint form different mirrors and it's still the same. Could it be because it's one of my old PCs that has only 200mb of RAM ?
Thanks

Could be, we recommend 384 as a minimum for the main and KDE editions
But this also look like a bad CD - have you checked the md5sum?

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

The CD is ok, I've tried it on a 256mb RAM laptop and worked just fine. The thing is that I've managed to gather 256mb RAM on the PC I want to install Mint on and it gives me the same error. I've even tried with another CD-ROM, but no luck.
What could it be ?
