My mother is a little over zelouse about switching off everything at the plug,
So now, when she turns on her computer the boot screen it says
initramfs -
we don't know what comands to use so could really use your help!
Power truned off before shut down, now it wont boot :(

I'll give you one solution. The one I would use.
1. Turn the power on.
2. Insert the Linux Mint Live DVD.
3. Let Linux Mint boot up Live, not from the hard drive.
4. Copy all your important files from the computer onto a usb drive.
5. Double check you got all the important files.
6. Choose the icon install Linux Mint.
7. Tell your Mom not to do that again.
