How would one go about "repairing" the installation of Mint 4.0 in a similar fashion to Windows XP? (I'm sure the procedure will be totally different; I'm really just concerned about the end result). I've installed Daryna on a system to try it out and have configured it some. I've transplanted the HDD into a completely different system (the one it will eventually run in) in the hopes that it would be able to boot. It does, but not fully into a useable desktop. I'm not sure where to start, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it. I'm not familiar with many of the underlying concepts of Linux, so any relevant literature would be welcome.
