Uninstallation, how do I remove grub?

Postby Empyrean on Sat Feb 16, 2008 7:23 pm

I know you can do that with a windows disk, but I don't have one. I also know that you can fix the MBR through the liveCD as i've done it before, but I forgot how

So can anyone tell me how?

Oh and reason for removing Mint: Sabayon

Empyrean,

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. I am assuming you just want to reset your Windows boot and don't have the disk. If that is the case, download and burn Supergrub iso. You can fix your Windows boot with that program.

Its okay, I found the way to do it :)

Here is a link if you want to check it out: (Note I did this using a Ubuntu Live CD, as I did not have Mint Live CD in hand)
Make sure to read Step 3, that is how you can do it using live CD.
