Mint Kde and Mint Gnome on same install

Postby kwellis on Thu Feb 21, 2008 9:56 pm

I am wondering if it is possible to have Mints versions of KDE (when out of Brta) added to my already installed Mint Gnome Daryna so I can choose which manager from the session drop down?
Also any other Mint version of Window Managers?
Would an option through Software portal be a good place for such.

I don't know how many times I've answered this, but many....
You can have any desktop environment installed alongside the original one (can be some hassles, but...)
The Mint KDE edition is not just a desktop environment but a complete operating system and as such you can not (by default) install it in another operating system
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
