Super-Boot-Manager disspears in Mint 12 64bit

Postby staticBit on Sat Mar 31, 2012 12:10 am

Hi

I am trying to install Super-Boot-Manager (to use Burg2).

I followed all types of procedures one by one; installing from synaptic, from repostiry, from deb file and even from Software Manager (uninstalling after each failure). Since i'm on Lisa, I used the Oneiric version of the software.

I managed to install it every time. But when i opened it, it asked me for my root password. and as soon as i submitted it, Super-Boot-Manager simply dissapeared!

Even tried rebooting after installation, but to no avail.

And yes, I did install buc as well.

I am using Mint 12 Lisa 64 Bit with Linux Kernel 3.3.
