I am trying to install Mint 12 onto an Acer Laptop.
On load the splash screen shows, the drive turns but after the load sound it quits and doesn't finish the load, just a black screen.
Removed that disc and tried a 10.10 Mint, works a treat.
Would like to use the latest as this is for a new Linux user I was hoping to impress.
Any suggestions how I could use 12 rather than 10?
