No Dual boot on new install on previously-working system

I have been running Mint on a system with two hard drives. One drive runs Linux and the other runs Win XP. Dual boot worked fine.
Re-installed Mint 4.0 over the previous Mint installation using the live CD install. System now boots to Mint, but GRUB does not show existence of
other operating system, which is still there, but can't boot to it. What happened to GRUB dual boot? Should I do another re-install?

I run Linux Mint 4.0 in a dual boot system along with xp. Also in diferent hard drives.
And in the Grub Menu I had the option to start with XP. Perhaps you missed something during the installation.

Perhaps you should do in terminal

sudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

and search for the line

# This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for a non-linux OS
# on /dev/hda1
title Microsoft Windows XP Professional
root (hd0,0)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1

If it's there you should be able to start XP. if it isn't you should add it in last.
My first partition is XP, so my its (hd0,0) my linux Mint is at (hd1,0) the second disk first partition.

By the way another re-install should fix the problem. iThink.

Going to terminal and editing /boot/grub/menu.lst did the trick.
I guess I missed something during install...
