This was the only place that helped me get Azureus working in LinuxMint. Now it still turns up after a Google search (Known issues + how to fix them Linuxmint), but it does not seem to be available here anymore.
Azureus does not work in Linuxmint after the default install, so a guide is needed.
Edit:
Anyway, the idea is to
[*]download Azureus from here: http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php
[*]and unpack it
[*]and, in terminal, go to the folder where it's unpacked (cd /name-of-the-folder-where-it-is)
[*]and move it to /opt by this command: sudo mv azureus /opt
[*]after that, a button can be made to desktop or panel, with this command: /opt/azureus/azureus.
If this does not work, the most probable cause is that the file azureus has incorrect info about the location of java, and it has to be changed:
[*]sudo gedit /opt/azureus/azureus
[*]and the right java location needs to be written instead of the wrong one.
