All went well with Ubuntu One install on both, and I can synch Tomboy 1.0.0 from my laptop with the website.
I've gotten Tomboy 1.0.0 (jaunty PPA) installed successfully on my desktop as well, but I can't connect to the server (https://one.ubuntu.com/notes) with the Tomboy Web Synchronization tool. I get the following error:
- Code: Select all
(tomboy:4182): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_entry_set_text: assertion `text != NULL' failed
[ERROR]: Caught exception. Message: The remote server returned an error: (400) BAD REQUEST.

I'd like to try the karmic PPA instead of jaunty as it's newer and recommended, but I can't install the karmic tomboy PPA for 1.0.0 due to this problem:
- Code: Select all
tomboy:
Depends: libc6 (>=2.10) but 2.9-4ubuntu6.1 is to be installed or
libc6.1 (>=2.10) but it is not installable or
libc0.1 (>=2.10) but it is not installable

Depends: libmono-system2.0-cil (>=2.4) but 2.0.1-4ubuntu0.1 is to be installed
I would really like to get my notes synced up between the two as I'm about to start traveling. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
