Azureus install/update problem

LinuxMint KDE 4.044 beta Lite

I installed Azureus OK but it wont install auto update, giving message " /usr/share/azureus isnt writeable".

When I select "restart later" it closes and then auto restarts popping up an error box.

This goes on and on so I uninstalled it.

How do I get Azureus to install properly with updates/plugins being able to be written to the system?

Also, Azureus auto connects through my modem/router whereas in the past I had to port-forward to access the Net.

What do you mean by auto update? As update the software it self? Use synaptic for that, the built in updaters usually do not work (on purpose) in Linux...

I have solved problem.

Was installing Azureus via Synaptic.

When I installed via the Mint Software Portal Azureus dloaded and installed 3.9.4.2 Update without problems and runs fine, 'though a bit slow when it comes to changing from Desktop to Vuze etc
