How do I set my email so that http links open in Firefox?

I have just installed MINT12 KDE 64 bit after running Mint 6 since release. I have to say that it looks great.

However I having a problem when I get an email with URL links in it. When I click on the URL link I get a Box headed "Launch Application" and it instructs me to "Choose an Application" and there is a button that says "Choose" but I can't work out how to set it to Firefox so that I can then check the box at the bottom "Remember my choice for http links"

If I check the box without Choosing an App it then shows a message it can be changed in Thunderbirds Preferences.

I have had a look in Thunderbird Preferences but I still can't find how to make the appropriate setting.

I have searched the site but so far no joy!

Details in the link are not quite correct but there was enough there for me to get everything sorted.

I wonder how long I can run with this version before I get the urge to upgrade again
