HERE IS WHAT I DID. FIRST I INSTALLED WINE AND THEN DOWNLOADED AN OLD VERSION OF WINDOWS THUNDERBIRD AND INSTALLED IT. iT WORKS. tHIS IS A TEMPORARY FIX. what happened to Thunderbird? It will not connect or recognize live.com! LM 12 worked just fine. How do I get a earlier version of Thunderbird? I do not know how to do the tar thingy. I can download it and extract it, but that is it. I can't see how to use it.
