gparted: Unable to view partition information warning

Postby Netherfox on Sat May 26, 2012 1:37 pm

I'm trying to resize my main ntfs partition. Gparted wont allow me to resize it at all, it keeps defaulting the minimum size back to the same size it already is. There is a warning icon next to the partition, and when I right click on the partition to view information I get the window shown in the uploaded file attachment. I cannot scroll down to view the rest of the text to see what's going on. In Cinnamon, i can't even exit out of the screen (in Mate, there is at least an x button). Is this a bug? If so, I'm not familiar with the bug submittal process so kindly point me in the right direction.

Maybe you should run Chkdsk /f in Windows before resizing.

I have run "chkdsk /f /r" in windows and am still getting the warning. But regardless, gparted should be displaying the warning in a way that it can actually be viewed. There should be a scroll bar or some other way of getting the full text. In my view, this is a bug.
